드디어, 넷플릭스 시리즈에서 아라민타가 로즈먼드를 결혼 시장에서 더 밀어줬는지 알 것 같았다. 일단 로즈먼드의 근자감이 이해가 안 가고, 왜 포지를 무시했는지 알 것 같았다. 원작에서는 로즈먼드는 소피와 버금가는 미모를 가진 아이였고, 포지는 포동포동한 소녀였던 것이다. 넷플릭스 시리즈에선, 로즈먼드가 미친 외모를 갖고 있지도 않았고 포지는 심지어 너무 예뻤다. 아라민타가 왜 로즈먼드를 가장 예뻐하고, 소피를 싫어했는지 이제야 납득이 된다.
베네딕트는 자신의 그림에 자신감이 없지만 그 가치를 알아봐주는 사람이 있길 간절히 바라왔던 것 같다. 소피의 아름다운 외모와 성품만으로도 그녀에게 반할 이유가 충분했지만, 자신의 그림을 보고 감탄하는 소피를 보며 사랑하지 않을 수 없었다. 원작에서는 소피가 하녀 일을 잘 하는 사람으로 보이진 않지만 귀족여성들을 지니면 좋을 미적 감각을 충분히 지니고 있던 것처럼 보인다.
Finally, I found out why Araminta focused on Rosamund for the marriage market. When I watched Bridgerton Season 4 on Netflix, I couldn't understand that Rosamund was very confident by herself and why Araminta ignored Posy. In Original book, Rosamun is as beautiful as Sophie and Posy is kind of.. chubby. But in Netflix series, Rosamund didn't have striking beauty and Posy didn't have a fat body(Evne she is so pretty.).
Benedict had wished for someone who recognize his painting's value, even if he has no confidence in his painting. It is enouch for him to fall in love with Sophie(she is so beautiful and kind), but he couldn't stop loving her anymore when Sophie told complimented his painting. I think, Sophie seems to have a refined artistic sense as a novel, although she is not portrayed as particularly skilled at working as a servant.
